Conveyancing
Choosing a good local Conveyancing Solicitor is an important part of buying and selling process. You should consider the following points; - You will need to work closely with your chosen Solicitor and will need to visit your solicitor on numerous occasions in order to complete and sign paperwork - a solicitor based in your local vicinity will make life a lot easier!
- Watch out for Conveyancing Call Centres. Initially you may be allocated one point of contact but your case will not be progressed by one person alone. This can cause untold complications and stress not only for you but for your Estate Agent who will liaising with them on your behalf. Beware! Agents often receive a referral fee for passing your business to Conveyancing Call Centres.
- Ask the advice of your Estate Agent, Friends and Work Colleagues - a good Solicitors reputation will precede them!
Choose an independent local Solicitor who maintains a good working relationship with your Estate Agent. For details of our local conveyancing partners who offer a like minded service please see ‘Solicitors’ under our services section
